WELCOME!
St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in San Francisco welcomes you to our parish website.
We are the only Ukrainian Orthodox Church within 100 miles of the San Francisco Bay Area and cordially invite you to join our spiritual family. Here, in a warm and inviting atmosphere, new immigrants and descendants of Ukrainian settlers come together to pray and maintain Orthodox traditions.
We strive to combine the richness of our spiritual heritage with the needs of modern family life, creating a space where everyone can find peace, inspiration, and inner renewal in a world of constant worry.
Welcome to our community—the doors of our church and hearts are always open to you!
Dear brothers and sisters!
We invite you to the celebration of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin and the Day of the Defenders of Ukraine, which will begin with a solemn service, and afterwards we will gather together in the parish hall. It will not be just a lunch, but a warm family gathering filled with gratitude, prayer and love.
We decided to hold it in the format of a potluck lunch. This is a special meal that is created by joint efforts: everyone brings something from themselves, and together we set the table. It can be any dish - sweet or savory, homemade or bought. The important thing is not how delicious it is, but that it contains a piece of your sincerity and love. This is how a real holiday is born - when a shared table becomes a sign of unity.
There are many ways to get involved: bring a dish, help with preparation and cleanup, or just come and share in the joy. Even if you can't bring anything, please come, because your presence and prayer are most precious to us.
Come yourself and invite your friends! Let the celebration be an opportunity for all of us to share warmth and gratitude.
We sincerely thank everyone who will join us. May the Protection of the Mother of God be upon you and your families. Let us celebrate together, pray together, and give thanks together, for our strength is in the unity of our hearts.
